Return to Work Claims Manager

At our organisation, we specialise in workers compensation and personal injury claims management. Our key objective is to support individuals during their return-to-work journey.
The RoleWe are seeking experienced claims professionals from New Zealand to join our growing team. As a senior team member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our claims management strategy while mentoring and guiding colleagues through coaching and leadership by example to foster a culture of collaboration and shared knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Effectively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehabilitation providers, and other stakeholders to develop an effective Return to Work strategy.
- Support the worker and employer throughout the claim process, providing guidance, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
- Evaluate aspects of liability and recovery relevant to legislation or policies while conducting ongoing reviews related to entitlements and payments.
- Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other team members.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is essential.
- Residency in New Zealand is mandatory for relocation bonus eligibility.
- An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to deliver customer-centric support.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure stakeholder engagement.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
