Job Title: Injury Management Specialist

About the Role:

The role of an Injury Management Specialist is to develop and implement effective injury management programs, return-to-work initiatives, and workers compensation claims management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide injury management services, coordinate return-to-work programs, and manage workers compensation claims.
  • Implement injury prevention strategies, facilitate referrals for independent medical assessments, and advise on legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a therapeutic or nursing field, or equivalent experience in injury management.
  • Sound knowledge of current workers compensation legislation and policy.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to support injured workers face-to-face.
