Job Opportunity

Maxlife Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake general nursing duties, including client assessments, medication management, and care planning/plan review, under the direction of the Head of Clinical Care.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure appropriate care for clients in accordance with our mission.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to achieve clinical strategic objectives, promote a continuous improvement program, and uphold standards of care.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for area supervisors, team leaders, care workers, and colleagues.
  • Develop and review new and existing protocols related to client care.
  • Provide relevant clinical training to ensure staff competence and deliver education to frontline workers.
  • Attend to participants/clients to deliver specific clinical care/interventions, such as wound care, supra pubic catheter care, skin care, and complex care, including tracheostomy care.
  • Represent the clinical team at client meetings; review/analyze incident reports with the Head of Risk and advise the Chief Medical Officer of related issues.
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registered nurse with no restrictions.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field and minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical role (advantageous).
  • Experience in community/nursing settings preferred.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Strong focus on person-centered, exceptional care, and quality client outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management; ability to manage change and provide responsive services.
