
Community Nursing Specialist

This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic community-based environment. As a Community Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care to individuals and families in their homes and communities.
You will have the autonomy to expand your nursing skills across generalist and specialist areas, including wound management, medication management, continence support, PEG tube changes, intercostal drain care, and diabetes education.
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect, Empowerment, and lifelong learning.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred care to individuals and families in their homes and communities
- Expand nursing skills across generalist and specialist areas
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
- Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience working in medical, surgical, rehabilitation, or aged care settings
