The NSW Health adult Intensive Care Units offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for transitioning nurses to advance their skills and knowledge.
Program Overview- This 12-month program is designed for registered nurses who have recently transitioned into an acute care and/or hospital setting.
- Nurses will be required to complete five learning pathways and submit eight Learning Portfolios, showcasing their growth and development throughout the program.
- They will also participate in four locally delivered study days and engage in Work Integrated Learning activities, further enhancing their expertise.
- A recent clinical background in an acute care and/or hospital environment.
- A valid registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- The ability to work independently during periods of high demand.
This unique opportunity allows nurses to refine their skills, expand their knowledge, and contribute to the provision of exceptional patient care within our intensive care units.
