Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a highly analytical and goal-oriented individual to join our procurement consulting team as a Procurement Strategist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering procurement strategy, operating model, technology, and cost reduction projects across our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or Finance, and possess strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. You will also have exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interpret data and quickly identify opportunities.
This role requires a willingness to travel across Australia and a strong desire to have a career path in procurement consulting within a specialist firm. We offer a flexible annual leave policy, 25 days of annual leave, and 15 days for personal development or career progression.

Responsibilities- Define procurement strategy and operating model implementations
- Develop business cases for various procurement transformation requirements
- Complete cost reduction opportunity assessments based on client spend data and contracts
- Manage cost reduction projects such as strategic sourcing, direct negotiations, and process improvements
- Work in project delivery teams to optimise and upskill client procurement functions
- Manage delivery teams, which will depend on level of skills and experience
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the company
- Contribute to our growing digital procurement capability
- Support leaders of the business in sales, marketing, systems, and business development
- Contribute to the high performing, flexible, and inclusive team culture
To be successful in this role, you will be highly analytical, focused, and goal-oriented. You will have a strong desire to have a career path in procurement consulting within a specialist firm and be willing to travel across Australia.
