About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Sector Category Lead - Indirects. This is a key role within our Australia Sector, responsible for managing indirect spend and driving strategic initiatives across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies for indirect spend, including IT, facilities, legal, finance, fleet, and other allocated categories.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on supply chain, procurement, and contract strategies, including cost optimization, supply planning, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and qualify new suppliers, manage procurement activities, and ensure compliance with governance and risk management requirements.
  • Lead and deliver procurement activities to secure goods, works, and services that meet customer needs while ensuring value for money and generating efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Extensive leadership experience in supply chain, category management, and procurement, with a strong knowledge of procurement models and multi-country business offerings.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end supply chain management, procurement strategies, contract management, and supplier engagement.
  • Complex stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to integrate and collaborate across multiple geographical locations, time zones, and cultures.
  • Outcomes-focused approach to capability development and uplift through continuous improvement, coaching, and mentoring.
