Supply Chain Strategist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Sector Category Lead - Indirects. This is a key role within our Australia Sector, responsible for managing indirect spend and driving strategic initiatives across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement category strategies for indirect spend, including IT, facilities, legal, finance, fleet, and other allocated categories.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on supply chain, procurement, and contract strategies, including cost optimization, supply planning, and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and qualify new suppliers, manage procurement activities, and ensure compliance with governance and risk management requirements.
- Lead and deliver procurement activities to secure goods, works, and services that meet customer needs while ensuring value for money and generating efficiencies.
- Extensive leadership experience in supply chain, category management, and procurement, with a strong knowledge of procurement models and multi-country business offerings.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end supply chain management, procurement strategies, contract management, and supplier engagement.
- Complex stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to integrate and collaborate across multiple geographical locations, time zones, and cultures.
- Outcomes-focused approach to capability development and uplift through continuous improvement, coaching, and mentoring.
