About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and goal-oriented individual to join our procurement consulting team as a Procurement Strategist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering procurement strategy, operating model, technology, and cost reduction projects across our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain, business, accounting, or finance, with a desire to pursue a career in procurement consulting within a specialist firm. You will be expected to possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to interpret data and quickly identify opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define procurement strategy and operating model implementations
  • Develop business cases for various procurement transformation requirements
  • Complete cost reduction opportunity assessments based on client spend data and contracts
  • Manage cost reduction projects such as strategic sourcing, direct negotiations, and process improvements
  • Work in project delivery teams to optimize and upskill client procurement functions
  • Manage delivery teams, which will depend on level of skills and experience
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the company
  • Contribute to our growing digital procurement capability
  • Support leaders of the business in sales, marketing, systems, and business development
  • Contribute to the high-performing, flexible, and inclusive team culture
