Delivering professional employment and industrial relations services is a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with stakeholders to provide trusted advice and guidance on ER/IR matters where there is complexity and/or risk.
- Undertake formal investigations in response to workplace misconduct and/or grievance matters.
- Represent the organisation in discussions, negotiations, and hearings with unions, employment/industrial tribunals, and other employment stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of IR/ER strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, best practice, and minimise risk.
- Collaborate on personnel and corporate affairs related projects and initiatives.
- Deliver training and support to management on IR/ER topics to enhance understanding and compliance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Relations, Law, or Human Resource Management are highly valued.
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills are essential.
- High-level communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- Problem-solving, research, and analytical skills, hands-on, pragmatic, resilient, and flexible with experience and knowledge in navigating large businesses and operating under matrix structures are desirable.
