About the Role

The role of Employee Relations Leader has arisen in a dynamic organization for an experienced professional to join the team. This position is part of the Employee Relations function and has responsibility for employee relations matters within various businesses.

This role provides leadership to a team focused on strategy, advisory, and management of employee and labour relations matters and outcomes within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  • Applies expertise in employee relations to provide evidence-based and strategic advice to senior leaders.
  • Identifies, engages, and manages diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
  • Gains support for and negotiates outcomes that drive business performance and growth.
  • Monitors and mitigates risks associated with employee relations to ensure safe and productive work environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a large organization with multiple enterprise agreements and a large operational workforce.
  • Proven experience leading, motivating, and developing teams to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced coaching capabilities to drive employee growth and development.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills to leverage relationships at all levels.
  • Subject matter expertise in Australian industrial relations and employment legislation to provide timely and effective advice.
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic planning, decision-making, and risk management to drive business success.
  • Cross-functional experience in HR with deep analytical and problem-solving skills.
