
Employee Relations Expert

As an Employee Relations Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Your responsibility will be to facilitate and provide resolution advice on various IR and ER matters across multiple business units.
You will be proactive and passionate about employee relations, thriving in an environment that demands attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to frontline managers on behavioral or performance management related matters, disputes on leave, grievances, non-work-related injuries, and long-term unplanned leave.
- Manage high-risk ER cases from initiation to resolution, utilizing your expertise to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Lead workplace investigations into employee grievances and allegations, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict protocols.
- Deliver coaching and development programs for line managers, resulting in improved business performance and reduced re-occurrence of issues.
- Represent the organization in industrial relations/employee relations matters with team members, unions, employer bodies, and regulatory authorities for lower-risk matters.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in IR/ER within a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Employee Relations are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
