- This is a key role that involves managing employee relations claims and advocating on behalf of employees in Fair Work Commission conferences.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting workplace investigations, preparing case documentation, and leading discussions with internal and external stakeholders, including unions and professional associations.
- They will also participate in enterprise agreement negotiation workgroups, ensuring preparation, consultation, and approval processes are met.
- Maintaining accurate case records and upholding confidentiality and compliance standards is essential for this role.
- The specialist will implement trauma-informed case management principles in all cases.
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, with a minimum 5 years' experience providing employee relations advice.
- Proven leadership in workplace investigations and interpreting employment-related policies and legislation.
- Advocacy and defence experience in the Fair Work Commission, including drafting submissions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment-related legislation and frameworks.
