About the Role

Careforward is seeking a highly skilled and experienced People & Culture Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of human resource strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement human resource strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Lead the People & Culture team in delivering high-quality human resource services.
  • Organizational Development
    • Design and implement organizational development programs that enhance employee engagement and productivity.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement organizational change initiatives.
  • Employee Relations
    • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Workforce Planning
    • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure the right talent is in place to drive business success.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement succession planning initiatives.
  • Contractor Management
    • Manage the engagement and ongoing matters for subcontractors, independent contractors, and brokerage organizations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Substantial HR generalist experience, preferably in a non-profit environment, at a senior level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret legislation, regulations, and awards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing human resource programs and initiatives.
  • Well-developed organizational and administrative skills.
  • Computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment.
