About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a Senior Claims Professional to lead our case management team in assessing long-term, Death and Terminal Illness claims. As a key member of our team, you will own a small portfolio of complex claims across Income Protection, Death and Terminal Illness.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coaching and mentoring case managers on best practices and claims philosophy.
- Ensuring quality standards are met through regular reviews and audits.
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiency gains.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Solid end-to-end experience in retail life claims, with strong policy interpretation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of LICOP (Life Insurance Code of Practice) and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- A broad understanding of medical, financial, legal, product, and regulatory aspects of life insurance.
- Certificate IV in Life Insurance (preferred).
