
Senior Claims Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced claims professional to join our team as a Senior Claims Specialist – High Value and Complex Claims.
- This role requires strategic leadership and technical expertise in managing high-value and complex claims, including professional indemnity, injury, and property liability.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving resolution of these claims and contributing to technical excellence. They will provide expert advice, manage litigation, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and fair outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance
- Industry qualifications such as Diploma in Financial Services
- 5–10 years' experience managing complex liability or professional indemnity claims
- Litigation experience, including briefing panel firms or direct involvement
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Experience mentoring and developing team members
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and claims systems
