About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Avature. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels across Australia, New Zealand, and emerging international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, IT, Marketing, and Operations, to support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) strategy.
  • Optimize inventory levels by meeting market demand without overstocking, ensuring stock rotation, and completing month-end closing activities.
  • Work closely with the inbound and outbound warehouse to optimize inventory levels.
  • Manage relationships with third-party warehouses, distribution partners, and freight forwarders.
  • Conduct performance monitoring, regular reviews, and cost tracking of third-party warehouses, distribution partners, and freight forwarders.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Supply Chain, logistics, or planning, ideally within the dairy industry or a similar sector.
  • Proven experience working with third-party warehouses, distribution partners, and freight forwarders, including performance monitoring.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Previous experience working in an import/export business is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualified in Supply Chain, Finance, Science, Engineering, or a business-related field is highly advantageous.
