About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at GWA Group. As a key member of our Supply & Innovations team, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and providing recommendations to improve supply chain capability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize inventory levels across the supply chain network to meet customer service levels and safety stock requirements.
  • Place orders based on agreed lead times and capacity availability, and lead the interface with suppliers to resolve supply issues.
  • Develop and execute mitigation plans to relieve and eliminate out-of-stock situations, meeting inventory and customer service targets.
  • Conduct regular business and performance reviews with internal and external stakeholders, and be accountable for master data for material planning and supply matrix lists.
  • Monitor supply-related performance metrics and consult with suppliers regarding availability of capacity and scheduling of production.
  • Establish communication and information transfer processes with suppliers.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in supply chain management. You will have experience maintaining a minimum 12-month rolling supply plan with suppliers, identifying capacity constraints, and agreeing actions to address the issue. You will also have a proven track record of developing strong partnerships with key supply partners, both domestically and overseas, to ensure supply requirements are fulfilled.
