About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Supply Chain Leader to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our purchasing and planning efforts, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing and planning initiatives to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and optimal terms.
  • Manage and analyze data to inform purchasing decisions, optimize inventory levels, and improve supply chain visibility.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring a high level of service and quality.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a purchasing or supply chain role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a track record of achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
