We are currently seeking a Graduate Paediatric Speech Pathologist/Key Worker to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention and Therapy Services team, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to children from 0-12 years old.
About the RoleAs a Graduate Paediatric Speech Pathologist/Key Worker, you will work collaboratively with families to assess needs and develop tailored intervention plans. You will utilise a coaching approach to facilitate family confidence in implementing strategies and supports for consumers. You will also collaborate with members of the team, comprising Early Childhood Education Specialists, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, and Allied Health Assistants to support your individual consumer caseload.
You will provide direct speech therapy support and strategies to children aged 7-12 years. You will participate in monthly graduate meetings for case study review, professional development, and peer support. You will also engage in fortnightly supervisions/mentoring sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Assess children from 0-12 years old with a variety of clinical and developmental needs, such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, and global developmental delay.
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support children and families.
- Collaborate with members of the team to support your individual consumer caseload.
- Provide direct speech therapy support and strategies to children aged 7-12 years.
- Participate in monthly graduate meetings and fortnightly supervisions/mentoring sessions.
