Paediatric Speech Pathologist

At Windermere Child and Family Services, we are seeking a skilled Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to children and their families.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in paediatric practice, with a strong understanding of typical development and common conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, and developmental delay.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-informed intervention strategies, standardised assessments, and parent training to increase communication and active participation in social and educational settings for children.
- Undertake face-to-face consultation and relationship building in natural environments, schools, and kindergartens, as well as our modern office facilities and therapy spaces.
- Liaise and collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to design and deliver comprehensive support plans.
- Provide key worker support and advice to families and children in relation to speaking, listening, understanding language, fluency, and social skills.
