Property Care Specialist

The Property Care Specialist is responsible for ensuring the property is safe, well maintained and attractive to residents, families, visitors and staff by providing quality repairs and maintenance of the grounds and gardens.

Duties include:

  • Maintaining facility grounds and external areas in a clean and well-maintained condition.
  • Supervising contractors, managing relationships with suppliers and coordinating services.
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks within set timeframes and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Identifying preventative maintenance requirements and completing schedules.
  • Assisting in sourcing suppliers and contractors, and obtaining quotations and prices for maintenance items.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property/grounds maintenance and building works in an aged care setting (desirable).
  • Trade background and several years industry experience.
  • Current relevant certifications including a White/Blue Card.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good understanding of WH&S and ability to maintain a safe working environment.
  • First Aid & CPR certification (desirable).
  • Highly organised with proven capability to self-manage and prioritise.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
