We're looking for a talented professional to join our team as an Operations Readiness Engineer. In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the successful ramp-up of our brownfield projects.

About the Role

As Operations Readiness Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the operational readiness delivery portfolio of brownfield projects. This involves tracking readiness deliverables such as spare parts lists, asset registers, O&M manuals, and vendor documentation.

You'll work closely with commissioning and operations teams to identify and address operational requirements. Your strong problem-solving skills and analytical expertise will help drive continuous improvement and embed risk-based approaches in all project phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage operational readiness delivery portfolio of brownfield projects.
  • Track readiness deliverables including spare parts lists, asset registers, O&M manuals, and vendor documentation.
  • Liaise between commissioning and operations teams to identify and address operational requirements.
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to ensure teams are prepared to operate and maintain systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed risk-based approaches in all project phases.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical & Instrumentation).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mineral processing or heavy industrial plants, with at least 2 years in operational readiness.
  • Proficient in SAP (PM, MM) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Australian engineering and construction practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
