
Workplace Injury Prevention Manager

About this role
">- You will lead the design, development and integration of injury management systems, initiatives, programs and processes to ensure effective legislative compliance.
- Continuously improve and monitor contemporary injury management processes and systems, including recovery at work and early intervention, to deliver health and injury management services in line with legislative and corporate obligations.
This is an opportunity to take on a leadership role in promoting workplace safety and injury prevention. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.
You will have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and be able to provide guidance and support to team members on workplace safety matters.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams and implementing safety protocols, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement injury management strategies and protocols
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Provide training and support to team members on workplace safety
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and near misses
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address safety concerns
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and legislation
