We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as an Injury Prevention Specialist. As part of this role, you will be responsible for helping individuals return to work following injury or illness, and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational rehabilitation, with qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology. You will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers involved in a work or non-work-related injury, or who have experienced an illness causing work related incapacity
  • Support clients to return to their original employer or find alternative employment
  • Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor your client's progress toward their return to work goal
  • Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives

Requirements:

  • Professional registration / membership with the relevant body (AHPRA / ESSA)
  • Comcare accredited / eligible
  • Have occupational rehabilitation experience
  • Exemplary communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of people
  • A motivation to achieve targets and be business-savvy
  • A current Working with Children Check
