We are seeking a skilled and experienced Analyst to join our Mergers team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and be able to work closely with the M&A team on strategy and business development.

About the Role
  • Key responsibilities include executing engagements, preparing pitch documents, company valuations, information memorandums, prospective buyer lists, and building 3-way financial models.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to work closely with the M&A team to drive strategy and business development forward.
  • As an ambassador of the firm, the analyst will participate in marketing events and keep abreast of the firm's services.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a relevant role, including 1-year direct experience with M&A and/or investment analysis.
  • Background in a leading accounting or boutique advisory firm, private equity, investment banking, or industry corporate development roles.
  • CA and/or CFA qualifications or similar.
  • Degree with an outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or overseas university or business school.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including writing and research skills.
  • Financial modelling skills.
  • People management skills.
