Ethos BeathChapman, a leading provider of expert advice to the superannuation industry, seeks an experienced Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a compliance professional with expertise in superannuation to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the Compliance Management Framework.

About the Role:

  • This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with the Head of Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations, supporting robust frameworks and governance across the organization.
  • You will oversee incident and breach management, deliver compliance training, and maintain essential frameworks, including privacy, policy governance, and financial crime.

About You:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager with 5-7 years of experience in a compliance role within superannuation. Your background should include in-depth knowledge of super trustee regulations, such as the SIS Act, Corporations Act, APRA Prudential Standards, and AML/CTF Act. Key skills include strong incident management background, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex compliance matters to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor the compliance framework to meet legislation, codes, and internal standards.
  • Manage incident and breach processes.
  • Prepare and review compliance-related reports for senior management and the Board.
  • Contribute to policy governance, privacy, and financial crime frameworks.

Additional Requirements:

  • A Degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field, with relevant industry certifications.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks, corporate policy development, and Board submissions.
