About the Role

The Retirement Living Manager will lead a team at our beautiful village in Noosaville, ensuring residents are independent and secure.

This role requires a leader who can manage village performance, maintenance of assets, and sales and marketing in accordance with Southern Cross Care requirements.

  • Ensure safety with functional emergency systems and procedures in place
  • Act as the village lead in resident interactions, committees, and community engagement for high resident satisfaction
  • Efficiently handle complaints and promote social programs
  • Contribute to strategic direction, including sales, asset management, and market trends knowledge
  • Manage administration and financials, including reporting, budgeting, P&L, records
  • Handle ongoing and preventative maintenance, gardening coordination in schedules
  • Manage and inspire your close-knit team for excellent customer service
  • Ensure Workplace Health and Safety compliance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Sales and marketing qualifications (desired)
  • Previous experience within a Retirement Living environment
  • Strong understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Residential Home Care Packages (desired)
  • Minimum 5 years management experience
  • Ability to interact with residents respectfully
  • Strong leadership and operational team support skills
  • Proven client, contractor, and consultant management experience
  • Demonstrated financial planning and budgeting experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
