Exceptional Care Leader

Seeking an experienced leader to manage a retirement village team, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety of residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for emergency systems and procedures
  • Act as the lead in resident interaction, committee engagement, and community outreach to promote resident satisfaction
  • Manage complaints efficiently, promoting social programs and activities
  • Contribute to the village's strategic direction, including sales, marketing, asset management, and market trends analysis
  • Lead administration, finance, reporting, budgeting, P&L, and resident record management
  • Coordinate maintenance, gardening, and schedules
  • Inspire a team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Sales and marketing qualifications desirable
  • Previous experience in Retirement Living environments
  • Strong understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Residential Home Care Packages desirable
  • Minimum 5 years management experience
  • Ability to interact with residents respectfully
  • Strong leadership, management, and operational team support skills
  • Proven experience in managing internal and external clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Demonstrated financial planning and budgeting skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
