Division: Boral Resources VIC P/L is seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Equipment Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment at our Wollert site.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive hourly rate, overtime, and allowances. You will be working Monday to Saturday, with access to comprehensive training and career development opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities- Operate mobile plant and equipment (Haul Truck, Excavator, and/or Front-End Loader) safely and efficiently.
- Manage the operation of the crushing plant with precision.
- Perform basic maintenance and maintain plant cleanliness.
- Engage in problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience with mobile plant operation, with Sales Loader experience being highly regarded.
- A HR truck licence is advantageous but not required.
- Quarry experience is valued but not necessary.
- A self-motivated attitude with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- The ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
