Asset Management Position

This role is seeking a proactive and experienced professional to support and coordinate strategic asset management projects for a regional council in Victoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asset management principles and experience in financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to improvement opportunities and contributing to the development of Asset Management plans, policies, and documents. They will work closely with various stakeholders, including managers, staff, contractors, and volunteers, to ensure effective service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing asset management strategies
  • Providing financial management expertise, including expenditure against budget and financial reporting
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality reports to various audiences
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma qualification in a relevant field, such as asset management or a similar discipline. They will also have sound knowledge of asset management principles, performance metrics, and their interrelation with service delivery.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in preparing and presenting written and verbal reports, as well as interacting with various stakeholders in a team environment.
