As a Senior Strategic Planner Economic Development, you will lead strategic initiatives, contribute to policy formulation, and positively impact the development of the city. You will work collaboratively with our diverse community to create resilient, sustainable urban solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for economic development
  • Contribute to policy formulation and implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve urban transformation goals
  • Manage flood and bushfire risk, and address urban heat

Requirements:

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related field
  • Solid work experience in Town Planning
  • Current class "C" driver's license

Desirable:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and other relevant legislation and Government policies
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
  • Computer literate
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work within a team environment

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • Entry level for this position starts at $2,011.56 per week, pro-rata
  • 35-hour working week
  • Car allowance
