Job Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to head our childcare centre in Bendigo, Australia.

About the Role

  • Manage daily operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements and company policies.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to staff members.
  • Ensure high-quality early learning programs are delivered by Educators.
  • Efficiently manage staffing rosters.
  • Effectively manage centre finances within budget guidelines.
  • Ensure high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA.
  • Experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood setting.
  • Current WWCC, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
  • Extensive understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals.
