Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruitment team in Perth. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment of skilled and semi-skilled labor for high-volume construction projects.

Your Role:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work across the recruitment lifecycle for blue-collar positions, collaborating with site managers, project directors, and HR business partners to forecast and prioritize manpower requirements. You will utilize specialized software to manage job postings, candidate pipelines, interviews, offers, and onboarding processes. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job fairs, labor agencies, trade schools, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process for blue-collar positions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet workforce needs
  • Utilize software systems to streamline recruitment processes
  • Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline
  • Assess candidates' technical skills and site-readiness
  • Mobilize and demobilize labor resources effectively

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume blue-collar recruitment
  • Proficiency in utilizing specialized software
  • Strong understanding of labor markets, trade classifications, and union/non-union workforce dynamics
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
