Business Development Leader for AU Region

This is a Manager, Sales Development role with one of the leading companies in Australia right now. Databricks is continuing to grow rapidly.
More About the Role:
You will be an important contributor to our sales leadership team, leading recruiting, pipeline generation and consumption growth strategy and coaching for Business Development and Growth Sales team members. Experience driving pipeline generation, leading sales development teams and working with sales and marketing teams is essential.
The impact you will have:
- Taking primary leadership role in building and scaling an outstanding team
- Supporting and shaping strategy for pipeline generation within ANZ
- Creating innovative strategies to accelerate new customer acquisition and consumption growth
Key responsibilities include managing team's pipeline target, being active in coaching team members and working with cross-functional regional leaders to maximise contribution of the team.
Analyzing team performance and funnel data to identify and fix inefficiencies is also crucial.
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Sales Development manager with consistent overachievement against quota
- Experience in a quota carrying, end-to-end sales role with consistent overachievement against quota
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and passion for cloud, big data and AI
The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
