About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at the State of Washington. As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our early intervention programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality training programs for early intervention providers and county lead agencies.
  • Design and implement risk-based assessment instruments to identify trends and training needs.
  • Analyze and disaggregate data to inform program improvements and policy revisions.
  • Provide expert analysis and interpretation of federal and state policy and regulatory guidance.
  • Collaborate with contractors and internal partners to develop and implement performance-based contracting strategies.
  • Provide coaching and training to early intervention providers and county lead agencies on contract requirements and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Equivalent education or professional experience totaling six (6) years in early childhood, early intervention, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to make clear presentations to diverse groups.
  • Experience with research-based analytics and the use of Logic Models to plan, implement, and evaluate complex programs.
