About the Opportunity

We seek a seasoned bid strategist to drive high-quality, accurate and compelling bid development that fosters our company's success.

This role suits someone looking for flexibility in their work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders early in the sales cycle, providing commercial acumen and supporting strategy development and win themes for major sales opportunities
  • Qualify bids and provide Yes/No Bid recommendations to senior management
  • Manage internal bid compliance requirements
  • Assemble and lead multi-disciplinary bid project teams, evaluating requirements, defining roles and responsibilities, managing timelines and deliverables, and escalating issues affecting timely delivery of a quality response
  • Draft and edit compelling bid content ensuring win themes are clearly articulated in bid messaging
  • Review contractual terms and obtain necessary approvals
  • Coordinate bid pricing including profitability reviews and approvals
  • Lead bid response reviews and approvals to develop and submit a quality bid in a timely manner
  • Support post-submission activities in conjunction with sales such as clarifications, presentations and contract negotiation
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience in bid management responding to large corporate and government tenders ideally in an IT Services or Technology environment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously in time-sensitive situations
  • Experience working within a diverse team of professionals to develop quality tender responses and meet tender deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Office skills (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
