Senior Bid Coordinator – McConnell Dowell

Ready to be a key player in shaping winning bids for major infrastructure projects across South Australia? Our Tenders Team in Adelaide is on the hunt for a Senior Bid Coordinator to drive strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement—especially in marine construction and transport.

You'll be at the heart of coordinating, writing, designing, and pulling together submissions, pre-qualifications, registrations of interest, and capability statements that help us win big. Working closely with bid teams, technical experts, partners, and stakeholders, you'll make sure every detail is spot on and delivered on time.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate and produce high-quality bids and submissions for marine and transport projects.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to turn complex information into clear, compelling content.
  • Support tender presentations and workshops with sharp, professional materials.
  • Maintain and improve marketing assets, case studies, and corporate CVs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and client feedback.
About You
  • Proven experience in submissions coordination, preferably in construction, engineering, or marine sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communicator who can simplify technical information for clear, effective bids.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities under pressure and adapting content as needed.
  • Self-starter with confidence, team collaboration skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe InDesign is a bonus.
Location

This role is based in our Adelaide office. Candidates must either already live in South Australia or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
