We are seeking an experienced Bid Strategist to join our team.
This role will involve working closely with senior leaders to develop and implement bid strategies, as well as managing the development of high-quality bids in response to formal procurement requests.
About the RoleAs a key member of our national Bids team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of bid strategy and management, including opportunity qualification, value proposition development, and content creation.
You will also be expected to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, business development specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure that bids are developed and presented in a way that meets the needs of our clients and showcases our firm's expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing effective bid strategies to achieve business objectives
- Managing the development of high-quality bids, including writing, editing, designing/formatting, and coordinating input from subject matter experts
- Providing expert advice and guidance on bid strategy and management, including opportunity qualification, value proposition development, and content creation
- Working collaboratively with subject matter experts, business development specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure that bids are developed and presented effectively
- Coaching and mentoring team members to improve their skills and knowledge in bid strategy and management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role within a professional services environment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective bid strategies to achieve business objectives
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
