Job Overview

This Senior Mental Health Clinician role is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team at the Alfred Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYAMHWS).

You will work with children, young people, and families/carers to provide clinical assessment and intervention, case management, and single session/brief therapy.

The role also involves discipline-specific consultation and assessment to clients and internal/external clinical services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and eligibility for membership of AHPRA (or the appropriate professional body) and a minimum 5 years' clinical experience.

You will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical assessment and intervention, case management, and single session/brief therapy to children, young people, and families/carers.
  • Conduct discipline-specific consultation and assessment to clients and internal/external clinical services.
  • Participate in leadership activities within the service, including supervision of staff and students.
