Mental Health Clinician

Alfred Health, a leader in healthcare delivery and improvement, is seeking a skilled clinician to join its Mobile Assessment & Treatment Team (MATT) in Bentleigh.
The ideal candidate will possess registration with the Occupational Therapy Board or Psychology Board via AHPRA, or eligible for membership with AASW, and experience working with psychosis and alcohol/drug issues. Therapeutic training is highly desirable.
About the Role- We are offering a permanent, part-time position (0.8 EFT) with a 7-day rotating roster, ensuring flexibility and work-life balance.
- This role involves providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and interventions with young people and their families, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.

- A competitive salary of approximately $85,000-$105,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with additional allowances and annual leave loading.

Headspace Early Psychosis is a world-renowned youth early psychosis program, delivering comprehensive services through one program in each Australian state. This initiative provides timely access to evidence-based early psychosis services, building on strengths and resilience, using lived experience, and fostering hope, potential, and recovery.
Job DescriptionAs a clinician within MATT, you will use your relevant clinical mental health experience to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and interventions with young people and their families, working across a 7-day rotating roster. Staff collaborate closely with the wider Alfred ICYAMHWS, headspace services, and other community services to ensure coordinated transitions and integration of services.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board or Psychology Board via AHPRA, or eligible for membership with AASW.
- Therapeutic training highly desirable.
- Experience in working with psychosis and alcohol/drug issues.
- Australian working rights.
- Current Victorian Driver's License.
- Current Working with Children Check & willingness to undergo a Background Check.
