Forensic Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a clinician at Forensic Intervention Services (FIS), a specialist program area of Corrections Victoria. As a clinician, you will play a vital role in reducing re-offending and making the community safer.
The successful candidate will have experience in mental health nursing and be registered with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses. You will also possess a current driver's license and be able to work in a fast-paced correctional environment.

In this role, you will work on complex cases with people who have histories of violent and sexual offending, delivering best-practice forensic intervention and working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model. Your responsibilities will include comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
