About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Airline Operations Systems Expert to join our team at Virgin Australia. As an expert in core Airline Operational systems, you will be responsible for configuring and testing solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team and division to gather and translate business requirements into solutions
  • Translate technical information to end-users and ensure systems are set up to support Operations teams
  • Manage system version upgrades and releases
  • Define business requirements and translate them to effective solutions
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, Business Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2-5 years' experience in a systems role, such as System Analyst, Business Analyst or Systems Support Specialist
  • Extensive experience with system configuration and testing
  • Proven experience in managing system version upgrades and releases
  • Demonstrated ability to define business requirements and translate them to effective solutions
  • Experience in project management
  • Familiarity with highly regulated and safety-focused environments
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong stakeholder management ability
