About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Operations Systems Specialist to join our Airline Operations Technology team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our Workforce Planning and Crew Tracking teams to improve systems that support their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Workforce Planning and Crew Tracking teams to identify and implement system improvements
  • Work closely with business customers and technology teams to support innovative outcomes
  • Develop and maintain system configurations, test cases, and support documentation
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external
  • Contribute to project planning and delivery, and drive improvements to process, policy, and systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information management, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years' experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Subject Matter Expert
  • Experience in airline rostering systems (AirCrews, IBS Pairings/PBS) or other operational systems
  • Demonstrated skills in gathering business requirements, problem-solving, and identifying solutions
  • Experience in system configuration, maintenance, and support
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
