About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Expert to join our team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our Commercial Systems team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in troubleshooting complex issues and consulting on ways to enhance our Passenger Services Systems and other Commercial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level expertise in Passenger Services Systems and webservices
  • Analyse business issues and translate into business requirements and then into airline system solutions
  • Utilise strong communication and facilitation skills to liaise with internal clients and Technology team members
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and deliver effective change
  • Support and mentor other members of the Technology team to develop their understanding of these systems
Requirements
  • 7+ years' experience supporting systems in a large ticketed airline/or equivalent transportation company
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems or equivalent experience in a similar role
