Role Overview: The Operations Systems Specialist will play a pivotal role within the Airline Operations Technology team, collaborating with Workforce Planning and Crew Tracking teams to enhance systems that facilitate their operational goals. This position requires close cooperation with business stakeholders and technology teams to drive innovative solutions that ensure compliance and boost operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine operational systems and processes.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Support system configuration, maintenance, and testing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Subject Matter Expert.
  • Expertise in airline rostering systems or similar operational systems.
  • Proven skills in problem-solving and solution assessment.
  • Experience in developing and executing system test cases.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in Workforce Planning or Integrated Operations Centre roles.
  • Familiarity with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Agreements and their implications.
