We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Officer to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As an Activities Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional services to our clients, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of residents, promoting their spiritual, physical, and social well-being.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior to your supervisor, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Document daily participation levels in activities, providing valuable insights for future program development.
  • Assist in the introduction of new residents, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction with our services.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Leisure & Health is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in aged care is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates are required.
  • Current Police Screening Certificate is necessary.
  • Be vaccinated against Influenza and have at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
  • Good computer and mobile device skills are essential.
  • LR Licence for driving centre bus is required.
