About the Role

Mackay Sugar is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and managing maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Comprehensive Maintenance Schedules: Create and manage maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Teams: Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and operations staff to prioritize and schedule tasks effectively.
  • Monitor Maintenance Activities: Track maintenance activities to ensure adherence to schedules and compliance with safety standards.
  • Analyze Maintenance Data: Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage Spare Parts Inventory: Collaborate with procurement to manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely availability of resources.
  • Provide Regular Updates: Provide regular updates and reports to management on maintenance performance and schedule adherence.

About You
  • Trade Qualification in a Relevant Mechanical Field: A trade qualification in a relevant mechanical field is an advantage.
  • Relevant Industry Experience: Relevant industry experience in a fixed plant environment is required.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Project Literacy: Intermediate Microsoft Project literacy skills are required.
  • Previous Scheduling Experience: Previous scheduling experience is required.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Literacy: Intermediate Microsoft Office literacy skills are required.
  • Previous SAP Experience: Previous SAP experience is required.
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment: The ability to work in a team environment is essential.
