About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our team at Ozcare. As an Activities Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the spiritual, physical, social, and psychological needs of our residents are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of our residents, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior to your supervisor, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Document daily participation levels in activities, providing valuable insights for care planning and improvement.
  • Assist in the smooth transition of new residents, ensuring their comfort and needs are met.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Leisure and Health is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in aged care is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates are required.
  • A current Police Screening Certificate is necessary.
  • Be vaccinated against Influenza and have at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
  • Good computer and mobile device skills are essential.
  • A valid LR Licence for driving a centre bus is required.

  • A competitive hourly rate of $31.05.
  • A part-time schedule with flexibility to work a varied roster, including Saturdays.
  • 5 weeks annual leave as standard, plus annual leave loading.
