About the Role

We are seeking experienced Health and Wellbeing Coordinators to join our team at Compass Corp. in the remote sector. As a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging social events, conducting group fitness activities and classes, and implementing company-wide health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging social events on site to promote physical and mental wellbeing
  • Conduct a variety of group fitness activities and classes for residents, including fitness programs and lifestyle activities
  • Implement and assist in the coordination of company-wide health initiatives, including health assessments and gym inductions
  • Monitor and maintain all sporting, leisure and recreational activities / facilities on site to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for residents
  • Provide educational seminars and workshops on health and wellbeing topics as required
  • Ensure communication and reporting processes are followed to maintain a high level of service delivery
Requirements
  • A Certificate IV in Fitness, Diploma of Sport and Recreation or health related degree is essential
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar environment, preferably in the remote sector
  • Current first aid and CPR certificates
  • Passion for physical and mental health and fitness, with a strong focus on engagement with clients and village residents
  • Previous experience conducting group fitness activities and classes, with a strong understanding of technical aspects of gym and recreation facilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
