Job Description

The role involves providing geotechnical expertise for residential, transport and infrastructure projects across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage field data acquisition, site investigations, testing and produce calculations, reporting, specifications and drawings to ensure that geotechnical designs provide appropriate solutions.
  2. Undertake geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations and retaining walls.
  3. Conduct quality checks and reviews to meet technical standards.
  4. Plan, program and coordinate geotechnical project inputs, to deliver outputs on time and to agreed quality standards.
  5. Develop proposals and carry out marketing initiatives as required.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies.
  2. Minimum 5 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a senior engineer in your current role.
  3. Experience with soil investigation, supervision and geotechnical design.
  4. Previous experience with engineering software packages such as gINT, GEOSTUDIO, PLAXIS, ROCSCIENCE, CIRCLY, AutoCAD.
